The Fast Ones producing team is Mia Fowler, Raffi Donatich, Karma Masselli, and Walker Caplan.
Fast Ones was conceived when we realized short theatrical work often serves a purpose other than the work itself: to launch careers or get funding for longer projects. In service of the future, it’s rarely made or viewed on its own terms.
So Fast Ones lets artists go full-out— by quickly creating joyful, fully committed, and play-forward work free of the specter of the next thing. Bringing multiple shows together in one night lets emerging NYC theater artists meet each other in a transparent, collaborative, and professional environment. No lengthy application or development processes: The speed is the point. Process is product. And artist and audience get to share in the learning, fun, and risk that comes from simply doing it live.
